Lotroinfo

Our site has been in the process of a major software upgrade for the last few weeks and may appear a little weird or incomplete until things get organized. In the meantime, we've disabled the join feature until Lotroinfo member rewards can be restored and updated. Current members and guests can still contribute to the site if they choose, though rewards will be limited until all functionality is restored. Thank you for your patience.

We're Celebrating Talk Like a Pirate Day on LOTROinfo.com!

Ah, Squiddy! I got nothing against ye. I just heard there was gold in yer belly. Ha ha har, ha ha ha har!

It's that time of year again!

Catching Up

After some technical issues, and a run of difficult scheduling for our site moderators, (most of whom are very busy both working and going to school) we're getting back to updating and adding to our content after a brief hiatus. For starters, we've added some new info to our Ask the Lore-master page, and are contributing several new files to our ABC Library. Next on the agenda, a return to our updated class guides project as well as making our Avatar Maker available to our registered members. Thanks for your patience!

Mirkwood guide updates!

Today, the Siege of Mirkwood expansion went live, with much fanfare and rejoicing. With it came some pretty sweeping changes to the combat system that have significant implications to all of our old class guides. It's on our agenda to update all our class guides so that all the information is pertinent and up-to-date. The Rune-keeper and Warden guides are also coming along nicely--we decided to pause a bit and wait for Mirkwood's changes rather than release them early and have to update them immediately.

Siege of Mirkwood Trailer

A new trailer has been released for the Siege of Mirkwood, this one featuring some stunning voicework by the Lieutenant of Dol Guldur, the Necromancer's Tower (aka Sauron's old pad) and the primary focus of the expansion. Take a look by clicking here!

Site Updates

In preparation for the debut of our new Rune-keeper and Warden class guides (due to be out very soon now) we've been working behind the scenes for the last few weeks to facilitate the way all our guides are submitted and updated, in order to make presenting them to visitors and members easier and more efficient for our moderators and our admin.

Our guides are some of our site's more popular content but their intricate nature has made updating them a real trial for our staff, so we've completely rewritten how they are handled and worked from the inside, in the hope that we can more easily keep producing and updating them for our site visitors.
