I cant argue with you. Lotro is probably my all time favorite mmo. Alas, I was cursed with a wandering eye and stray from time to time to find other worlds to play in.
Oh yes, that is one MMO I've checked in on on occasion. I though that I might've posted about it here already, but it seems that I didn't. I personally think it looks really interesting and I really like the fact that there are three factions as opposed to just two--it makes it a lot more interesting of a faction dynamic, like Dark Ages of Camelot.
Interesting, this will appeal to a different type of player seeing as its set in modern times as opposed to an age past.
It all boils down to what you prefer, D'n'D type, modern city or even space based.
Anybody remember Elite?

I don't think i heard of this one. I did play SWO, Anarchy Online , City of Heroes and Champions Online. Those are the only SCI-FI like games I tried.
Secret World might more steam punk like. Maybe a little like Champions Online.
The game that has grabbed my interest for now is RIFT.
