Great guide!! I just discovered that if you craft the Elven Soldier's Shield instead of the Elven Soldier's Armour, you can make a little more coin. The armour vendors for 6SP 44CP and the shield vendors for 7SP 14CP. Hope this helps.

With the addition of crafting guilds as well as some changes to metal-working, the Metal-working guide is in need of an update, which is currently in progress.
The crests that you can make for a crafting guild are always by far the most efficient way to skill up. However, due to the cool downs associated with them, they are not the fastest.
It's still always a good idea though to keep some metal around for those crests when timer is up.
