Radiance instances, they're complex, complicated, sometimes really hard. . .but they're most often very fun. Even popcorn movie fun. Think Indiana Jones and the Shoulders of the Great Bow. ;)
Our kin has been having a lot of fun and experience getting our assorted pieces of radiance armour hodge-podge style (see illustration ;)), and are gearing up, pun intended, to tackle the Vile Maw--or at least aptly deluding ourselves that we are.
In the process we've come across some useful tips and tricks for getting through the radiance instances without a hitch every time. We've even 5-manned one or two of them with the same success, thank you thank you.
So we've decided to take some of that knowledge and create a series of video guides on each of the radiance instances to add to our library of top-knotch guides here at LOTROInfo.com. We're currently working on a guide for The Forges, one of my favorites for its complexity, and cinematic and high-action fun.
Meantime, check out the uber group of adventures just dying to get into Vile Maw. Look familiar. . .
Heh, you all have it easy though. You don't have to worry about keeping yourself in one piece for tanking the Watcher. I mean, have you seen his teeth! He has more teeth than you'd see at an Osmond family reunion! And they're pointy! They CHOMP!
So yeah, getting the radiance armour has been a blast and you gotta appreciate some of the creative interesting ideas that they have in these instances.
Well I gotta go collect the rest of the pieces now if I want to avoid chompy death.
Collecting radiance armor is definitely a trial in and of itself, but more often than not it's fun to put the experience from past runs to use and find ourselves working together better and being more effective each time. Aside from the armor itself, the instances have all kinds of great loot to find, and each chest has enough coins to fill up your wallet quite quickly. I especially like how each instance has its own unique flavor and special tricks to learn and puzzles to solve.
And I can't wait for us to try our hands at the Watcher, sharp pointy teeth notwithstanding!
Velvyn, you wrap up nice 'n warm now, dont want you getting a cold. Newmoon, you too! I mean, honestly I----*gasp* There be no bowsman! *hops on horse, rides for Vile Maw*
